Linda Hall Library Arboretum BioBlitz
What is a BioBlitz?
A bioblitz is a community-driven event where volunteers, scientists, and nature enthusiasts work together to find and identify as many species as possible in a specific area, over a short period of time.
These rapid biodiversity surveys help document the variety of life in a place, contribute valuable data for conservation, and connect people to nature through hands-on discovery.

Linda Hall Library Arboretum BioBlitz
Twice a year, starting the second Saturday in April and September, explore the Linda Hall Library Arboretum for two weeks at your own pace to help document its biodiversity. This self-guided bioblitz allows participants to visit anytime from dawn to dusk, recording insects, animals, fungi, and other organisms you observe. All observations must be made within the boundaries of the Arboretum. Your contributions will help build a richer picture of the species that call this unique green space home!
