Scott Perich Named New Vice President of Exhibitions and Project Management
Linda Hall Library has welcomed its first Vice President of Exhibitions and Project Management, Scott Perich. In this pivotal new role, Scott will lead the establishment of an Exhibitions and Project Management department.
“I am excited to build upon the Library's strengths and values, sharing and celebrating the collection through exhibitions and onsite experiences,” said Perich. “I look forward to collaborating with my peers within the Library and community to develop creative, relevant, and engaging exhibitions that connect our visitors to the stories of people, objects, places, and ideas found here at the Linda Hall Library.”
Bringing almost 30 years of expertise in exhibition planning and design, Perich will oversee all aspects of the Library’s exhibition program.
Perich had a long career at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Maryland, where he began as the Vice President for Exhibitions and Design and later served as the Director of Long-Range Planning and Strategic Design. Before that, Perich worked as Designer and Principal Designer at Quatrefoil Associates, an exhibition design firm that works with zoos, museums and interpretive sites. He has a bachelor’s degree in Theatre from the University of California, Riverside.
“For decades, Linda Hall Library has been a leading source of science, engineering and technology history and materials. As we turn the page to the next chapter of the Library, we are excited to bring scientific exhibitions to our community, consistently sparking the interest of scientific researchers, the general public and young people alike,” said Eric Dorfman, President of the Linda Hall Library. “Scott is a proven talent, creating engaging, informative exhibitions at prestigious institutions, and we are eager to see his influence on the Library.”
