An exhibition of the Description de l’Egypte (1809-1828) and other rare books documenting the French Expedition to Egypt.

The Cartes topographiques contains 47 maps of sections of Egypt. As a guide to the individual maps, the topographers produced an index map. It provides a useful reference for locating the sites and monuments displayed in the exhibit.
