Curricular Connections: Mapping, Transposing, and Teaching Research Methods in Geology, Geography, and Environmental Science
Caro Pinto is a research and instruction librarian at Mount Holyoke College. She began her career as a special collections librarian in the Yale University Libraries before moving to Hampshire College serving as an interdisciplinary social sciences and collection development librarian before joining Mount Holyoke College in 2013. Pinto is an active member of the Association of College and Research Libraries. She served on committees in the Rare Books and Manuscripts Section, the Women’s and Gender Studies Section, and the ACRL Conference Coordinating Committee. She published three book chapters from ACRL Press; the first on digital humanities and subject librarians, the second on critical pedagogy in liberal arts education, and the third about contemplative pedagogy. Her work also appeared in The Chronicle of Higher Education, Archive Journal, and In the Library with the Lead Pipe.
